Current Nursing (BSN) student at West Coast University Dallas (3.8 GPA) I can provide references from my professors. What I lack in experience, I make up for with my enthusiasm and a genuine love for these subjects. Before college I was a Combat Medic in the Army where I also spent four years teaching medical classes.
Experience
Member of the PALS program (Peer Assisted Learning Support), where only the top students get chosen by professors to assist other students with classes they have excelled in. I received an A grade in A&P 1, A&P 2, and Pathophysiology. Before that I was a Combat Medic in the Army so I have both practical and educational experience with these subjects. I want to be a tutor because I love watching that light bulb moment when people finally understand something that they thought they could never comprehend. To be a part of that is just wonderful. I am a visual learner who genuinely loves Patho and A&P and would like use these tools to help someone else! What I lack in experience, I make up for in enthusiasm. Having just recently completed these courses, at top schools, gives me a different perspective and more accurate depiction of what is currently being taught and tested.
